Patna : Patna Police team carried out raids in Bakhtiyarpur and arrested four criminals identified as Vijay Sao,
Dharamveer alias Dhania, Manish Kumar alias Badsaah, and Mohan Kumar, and recovered two bikes, a pistol and four live cartridges from their possession.
All the arrested criminals had demanded a ‘Rangdari’ ( extortion amount) of Rs 6 lakh from a clothe dealer through  an ISD call. When the trader refused to oblige them, they had opened fire at his shop. The arrested criminals
also face four criminal cases lodged against them with Bakhtiyarpur police station.Soon after the incident, Patna SSP Manu Maharaaj had directed police officials of technical Cell to crack the case. After two months’ hard labour, members of the cell arrested the criminals.
In another development, police arrested three criminals involved in an incident of loot from SI Manzar Alam in Agamkuan locality. Police arrested Sonu Kumar, Vijay Kumar, and Chandan Kumar. Police also conducted raid at village Khaira in Jamui district and recovered a looted bike from there. Two pistols, two live cartridges and two cellphones have been recovered from the possession of the arrested criminals.It may be mentioned here that some criminals had looted valuables from SI Manzar Alam near Shitala Maata Mandir in Agamkuan locality.

SSP, Patna, on getting information that some criminals had assembled at Rukanpur under Rupuspur ps on September 25, 2018, night, directed a police team to carry out raid there. Police arrested five criminals identified as Bittu Kumar, Shravan Kumar, Sonu Kumar, Vicky Kumar and Anil Kumar, and recovered one looted bike
besides two stolen bikes from their possession. Two pistols and three live cartridges were also seized
from their.
