Patna:  With a view to exposing those involved in leakage of question papers of now cancelled 2017 Intermediate level Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) examinations, Patna Police on February 13 filed a petition in the court of ACJM, Patna City Court, seeking remand of six accused.

Senior SP (SSP) Manu Maharaaj said special investigation team (SIT) probing the case on February 13 filed a petition in the aforesaid court seeking five days’ police remand of the six accused. He said that interrogation of the six accused would lead to revelations of more facts about this racket.

Meanwhile, police sources revealed that Patna Police teams are also carrying out raids in other states including Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand on the basis of revelations made by the arrested persons. It might lead to arrest of more members of the gang involved in the racket, whose roots are also spread over other states, said police sources.
