Patna: The Special Investigating Team (SIT) of Patna Police, which is investigating the much-publicised Intermediate Examination Toppers Scam, carried out raids in Aurangabad and Gaya district on Wednesday. The raid were carried out in connection with tender related to purchase of copies from a Gujarat based firm by Bihar School Intermediate Council. Patna Senior SP (SSP) Manu Maharaj said that teams have gone to Gaya and Aurangabad districts on a tip off.
Meanwhile, police sources in Aurangabad district said that the SIT team carried out raid in the house of one Ajay Kumar and recovered 19 bundles of copies from his house located at Veer Kuer Singh Colony. If police sources are to be believed, Singh is district president of Hindustani Awami Morcha.
