SIT again seeks police remand of Bachcha Rai

Patna: Special Investigation team (SIT) probing the Intermediate examinations result scam on Friday again sought police remand of  Bachcha Rai, Principal of Vishun Roy College,  Bhagwanpur, Vaishali,  even as the three days police remand of the former chairman of Bihar School Examination Board Lalkeswar Prasad Singh and his wife Usha Sinha, a former JD(U) MLA, comes to an end on Saturday
Bachcha Rai would be brought face to face with Singh  and Usha Sinha by the team on the scam. Bachcha and Singh had given different statements before the SIT earlier. Singh, in a new twist to the scam, had pleaded his innocence and had alleged the then secretary of the Board Harihar Nath Jha used to guide him and as chairman he used to sign on the files submitted by the secretary. Police have issued summons to Jha also.
