Patna : World No 79 Jannik Sinner, 18, Italy, upset World No 10 David Goffin, 29, Belgium, in second round of ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament, an ATP World Tour 500 indoor hard courts event, at Rotterdam, Netherlands, on February 13, 2020.

Sinner beat 4th seed Goffin in straight sets 7-6, 7-5 in 1hr 59 minutes to enter the quarter-finals of the tournament. Both the players fired 6 Aces each in the match. Goffin, however, committed 7 double faults to none by the Italian. Sinner won 3 break points to 2 by Goffin. He also won 3 games in a row to 2 by the Belgian. Goffin though won 57 service points to 54 by Sinner. The Italian will face World No 30 Pablo Carreno Busta, 28, Spain, in QFs on February 14, 2020.
