Patna : Third seed P V Sindhu, Kndia, 26, India reached the women’s singles semi-finals of Yonex French Open, an HSBC BWF World Tour Super 750 badminton tournament, at Paris, France, on October 29, 2021, evening, defeating 8th seed Busanan Ongbamrungphan, 25, Thailand, in quarter-final.

Sindhi, a two-time Olympics medallist, beat Busanan in straight games 21-14, 21-14 in 38 minutes in QF at Stade Pierre De Coubertin, Paris, France. Sindhu won 42 points during the match to 28 points by Busanan. Sindhu won 5 consecutive points to 4 by Busanan.
