Patna : Active cases count was 44 in Bihar including 19 in Patna on October 29, 2021, down from 45 a day before, as 6 more persons tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 28. Six persons had also tested positive for Covid-19 in the state on October 27, 2021. Bihar did not report any new death due to Covid-19 in last 24 hours and the toll has remained static at 9,641 in the state for last several days.
Bihar has logged 7,26,085 Covid-19 cases so far of which 7,16,379 patients have recovered including 7 in last 24 hours though the recovery rate (RR) remained pegged at 98.66% in the state on October 29. The state has tested 5,00,79,917 samples so far including 2,00,234 samples on October 28, 2021. The 6 new Covid-19 cases included 3 in Saran and 1 each in Madhubani, Samastipur, and Rohtas, according to Sttae Health Department figure.
