Patna: A police sub-inspector and a constable were injured near police outpost at Mahabir Mandir opposite Patna junction on Saturday morning. Police have registered an FIR against 20 persons including ten women. Two of the accused have been identified as Vijay Kumar and Ram Babu of Lalji Tola in the state capital.
According to the FIR lodged by Premkant Jha, sub-inspector of Kotwali police station, police had intercepted an auto moving suspiciously on Friday midnight.Two youths were caught and taken to Kotwali police station,where they were released after paying fine.On Saturday morning at 8 am, twenty persons ten women reached the outpost and assaulted sub-inspector and a constable. Police said the gang involved in the attack was involved in robbing people during night hours and running autos during day time from Patna junction.
