SHOs of Malsalami, Deedarganj police stations suspended

Patna : The entire set-up of Deedarganj and Malsalami police stations under Patna City Sub-Division in Patna district was removed on August 24, 2018, following complaints of corruption against SHOs and other police personnel of these two police stations.

Those removed include the respective SHOs, Sub-Inspectors (SIs) and ASIs of these two police stations. The SHOs of both Malsalami and Deedarganj police stations have been suspended, said the SSP, Patna, Manu Maharaaj.

Gambling, guessing games, and illegal loading of sand is going on unabated under the jurisdiction of the two police stations. Sixteen persons have been arrested so far in this connection. Also, 32 tractors loaded with sand have been seized.
