Patna: Two bike borne criminals shot at and seriously injured a shopkeeper Ramdev Mandal, 55, at his shop located at Nageshwar Colony under Buddha Colony police station, Patna, on October 31 night. The bullets hit his chest and arm and he was rushed to PMCH in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries on November 1 morning.

Police sources said the assailants reached Ramdev’s shop around 7.30 pm on October 31 and asked for a biscuit packet. When Ramdev was picking up the biscuit packet, the criminals threw a slip in the shop and then fired at him and escaped unchallenged. The criminals, in the paper, have threatened Ramdev’s son with dire consequence. Ravdev lived in P&T colony area with his three daughters and a son. One of his daughters works in a beauty parlour.  Ramdev sold Sudha products.
