Saharsa : A Hatiagachhi colony, Ali Road, Saharsa, shopkeeper Shivnandan Kumar, son of Ramdev Prasad Gupta, was shot at and seriously injured on June 26, 2017, night, by a customer when he refused to accept a torn note given by him after purchasing Gutkha. The bullet hit Shivnandan in the stomach and he was rushed to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, but was later admitted to a private local hospital in critical condition.
As soon as Shivnandan refused to accept the torn note, the customer started abusing him and then fired on him from his pistol and escaped from there. Hearing the sound of gunshot, Shivnandan’s family members and the locals gathered on the spot.
SHO, Sadar police station, Bhai Bharat immediately reached the Sadar Hospital to get details of the incident.Police are conducting raids to arrest the assailant.
