Patna : The RJD, in an important development on June 26, 2017, removed one of its spokespersons Ashok Sinha from his post for  targeting JD(U) national president and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar after the JD(U) decided to support NDA presidential pick Ram Nath Kovind. The party also cautioned its Maner ( Patna district) MLA Bhai Birendra for the same reason.

Ashok Sinha was removed from his post by state RJD president Ramchandra Purbey. RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s younger and Deputy CM Tejaswi Yadav said that the Grand Alliance partners were united, sources said. He charged the BJP with creating controversy in Grand Alliance.
