Patna : Shobha Ohotkar, a 1990 batch Bihar cadre IPS officer and ADG, was on December 29, 2020, promoted to the rank of DG. The Home ( Police Department, issued a notification to this effect on December 29 itself.
Three 2003 batch IPS officers : Vikas Vaibhav, Vijay Kumar Verma, and Suresh Prasad Chaudhary, all DIG, have been promoted to the rank of IG.
Three 2007 batch IPS officers : Ranjit Kumar Mishra, Pranav Kumar Pravin, and Mohd Shafiul Haque, have been promoted to the rank of DIG.
On the other hand, 12 2008 batch IPS officers: Upendra Kumar Sharma, Satyavir Singh, Vikas Berman, Manoj Kumar, Kim, Nitasha Gudia, Sanjay Kumar, Vikas Kumar, Dilip Kumar Mishra, Ashwini Kumar, Amzad Ali, and Arvind Thakur, have been promoted to the Selection Grade payscale.
