Saharsa : Senior JD(U) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sharad Yadav on February 12 requested the President of India and Centre to intervene and end political turmoil in Tamilnadu immediately. Yadav said that majority of AIADMK legislators were with top party leader Shahsikala yet the Tamilnadu governor was violating the constitution.

Talking to mediapersons at Saharsa Circuit House, Sharad said Tamilnadu was the best governed state in the country but at present there is a political turmoil in the state and alleged that the state governor was responsible for it.

He also criticised the NDA government at the centre for not releasing the Rs 1.25 lakh crore package to Bihar. Yadav is on a seven day visit to Madhepura parliamentary constituency. Former JD(U) national president Yadav also lashed out at the centre for not informing the people how much money had been deposited into banks after demonetisation on November 8, 2016. He claimed that demonetisation had affected small and medium industries adversely and the BJP would have to face voters’ ire in UP assembly polls. He said that police were arresting those involved in leakage of question papers of Bihar Staff Selection Commssion (BSSC) inter level exams.
