Siwan: Soon after filing of petition by the state government in the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of bail granted by Patna high court to former Siwan RJD MP Mohd. Shahabuddin, the former MP took a U-turn on Tuesday as he praised Bihar CM Nitish Kumar for his development works in the state particularly in Siwan in the past several years. He was participating in the RJD workers’ meet at the party office here.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, Shahabuddin said the state government has carried out several development works in the state. ” After moving in different localities of the district, I found that there has been a lot of development in past 13 years,” he said adding that even the roads in many districts are well-maintained by the state government.
Regarding martyrdom of several soldeirs in Uri in J&K , Shahabuddin said that PM Narendra Modi would have to take some drastic step in this regard. The meeting was attended by several RJD leaders of Siwan. A large number of party workers also attended the meeting as their leader has for the first time attended the meeting of party workers after his release from jail recently.
