Sitamarhi :  BJP President Amit Shah on April 28, 2019, lambasted Congress Party for its leader Shatrughna Sinha’s statement equating Mohammad Ali Jinnah with Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and Vallabhbhai Patel and said when India was retaliating the Pulwama terror attack a few political houses in the country did not feel comfortable.

Addressing an election rally at Dumra ground in Sitamarhi district on April 28, 2019, in favour of JD(U) candidate Sunil Kumar Pintoo, Shah said that the NDA is a pious combination under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi working for the faster development of the country.

On the other hand, the BJP President said, the Mahagathbandhan comprising the RJD, Congress, RLSP, HAM(S), and VIP is a ‘Mahamilawati’ combination. Their leader’s name is not yet clear nor they are in a position to declare the name of their leader today. How can the countrymen support such an unholy alliance, Shah said. For the safety and security of India, Mahagathbandhan is not reliable, he said. Pintoo is a four time former BJP MLA from  Sitamarhi MLA contesting as JD(U) nominee this time.
Shah said that PM Narendra Modi does not take any vacation whereas Congress Rahul Gandhi makes frequent foreign vacation trips. Shah said that Modi Government had released over Rs 6 lakh crore to Bihar for development works during last 5 years.
Modi Government had also secured the borders of the country, Shah added. He also attacked former J&K CM and NC leader Omar Abdullah for demanding a separate PM for J&K. Bihar Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi also lashed out at the Mahagathbandhan leaders.
