Bettiah : Seven persons were rescued while two others : Ram Jatan Paswan and his wife Hans Rajiya Devi, are still missing after a country boat carrying them capsized in strong current of swollen Gandak on June 30, 2021, morning, near Kailasnath Ghat under Bagaha police station (PS) in West Champaran District in North Bihar.
According to Bagaha police sources, the boat was carrying 9 persons and was on way to Diara ( riverine) area from Kailash Nath Ghat. The boat capsized in the deepwater when it dashed an iron pole. The locals rescued 7 persons but two are still missing and the divers were searching for them.
