Second Ashes Test between Australia & England ends in draw

Patna : The second Ashes Test between Australia and England at Lord’s, London, ended in a draw on August 18, 2019, night. Chasing a target of 267, Australia scored 154/6 in 47.3 overs. Marnus Labuschagne and  Tavis Head saved the day for Australia by their resolute batting. Labuschagne scored 59 while Travis Head remained unbeaten on 42. Australia could not score a singles run in last 4.3 overs.

Fast bowler Jofra Archer took 3/32 in 15 overs while spinner Jack Leach took 3/37 in 16.3 overs. England had scored 258 in their first innings and declared their second innings at 258/5. Australia scored 250 uns their first innings and 154/6 in second.
