Scorpio driver dies in Bhojpur accident

Ara : An Ara bound speeding Scorpio from Kharauni collided head on with a sand laden truck near Kharauni Mor under Bihia police stationin Bhojpur district in the afternoon on March 28, 2018, in which the driver of the Scorpio died on spot while other passengers were injured. Police brought the body to Ara Sadar hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Police also seized the Scorpio and truck.

Soon after the accident, angry villagers blocked Ara-Kharauni main road for about two hours paralysing the movement of vehicles. They were demanding compensation for the next of kin of the deceased.The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from police officials.
