Patna : Top seed Diego Schwartzman, 28, Argentina, drubbed compatriot Francisco Cerundolo, 22, a qualifier, in straight sets in an all Argentine final to win the singles title at ATP Argentina Open at Buenos Aires, Argentina, on March 7, 2021, late night. It is Schwartzman’s first ATP title on his home soil.

World No 9 Diego Schwartzman routed Francisco Cerundolo 6-1, 6-2 in 80 minutes in the final to pocket the singles title and 250 ATP rankings points plus $24,400 prize money. Francisco, whose younger brother Juan Manuel Cerundolo, 19, had won the ATP Corodoba Open, Argentina, singles title on February 28, 2021, as a qualifier, bagged 150 rankings points plus $18,030 prize money.
