Ara : A case of outraging of modesty of a class VIII student by her teacher making her pregnant and then persuading her to abort at village Pinchroi under Sandesh police station in Bhojpur district has come to light. A named FIR has been lodged with Woman Police Station, Ara, against the tutor Lav Kush Ram of village Pinchroi village in this connection.
Police brought the girl to Ara Sadar Hospital for medical examination and also produced her before Ara Civil Court on January 11, 2018, to get her statement registered under section 164 ofCrPC. The accused is said to be married person and father of two children.
The girl of a village under Charpokhri police station was living at the house of her maternal uncle under Sahar police station since February 2017 after a clash between her father and step mother. A relative of the girl, Lav Kush Kumar, a teacher at Janaidih Primary School at Sahar started teaching her. He lured her saying that he would marry her and outraged her modesty several time.The girl became pregnant but he persuaded her to abort at a private clinic. When her family members came to know about it, they lodged complaint with the Woman police station.
SHO, Woman police station, Poonam Kumari said that an FIR has been lodged against Lav Kush Ram and police will arrest him very soon. Quoting the girl, the SHO said that the accused had taken her nude photographs and video and always threatened to make them viral if she dared reveal their relation to anyone.
