School teacher dies in Bhojpur accident

Ara : A contract school teacher died when a speeding truck and a Magic van collided head-on near Pawana Bazaar under Pawana police station on Ara-Sahar main road in Bhojpur district on December 31, 2018. The driver of the Magic van was also injured. The truck driver escaped with the truck.

Later, police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. The deceased was identified as Ravi Bhushan Kumar, son of Bhola Chaudhary of village Chhaparapur under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district, while the driver of the Magic van has been identified as Mithun Kumar, son of Nagendra Chaudhary of the same village.

SHO, Pawana police station, said that Ravi Bhushan Kumar and Mithun Kumar were coming to Ara on a Magic van. When they reached near Pawana Bazaar under Pawana police station, a speeding truck collided head on with the Magic Van in which Ravi Bhushan Kumar was killed on the spot while driver Mithun Kumar was injured.
