Sasaram : A middle school teacher Ajay Singh, 50, was killed and another injured when their motorcycle collided head on with a speeding truck coming from opposite direction at Brikamganj railway crossing in Rohtas district on March 7, 2017. The truck driver fled away leaving the truck behind. Police seized the truck.
Angry villagers blocked Ara-Sasaram main road near Bikramganj railway station for about four hours. The blockade was lifted after positive assurance from the officials. The injured teacher was admitted to Primary Health Centre but later referred to Sasaram Sadar Hospital in a precarious condition.
Ajay Singh, a teacher posted in the Middle School at Sahjauli, along with his colleague Ratnakar was going to his school on motorcycle. When they were crossing the Bikramganj railway crossing, a speeding truck coming from opposite direction collided head on with the motorcycle killing Ajay Singh on the spot.
