Sasarm : Rohtas police arrested two naxalites near Hanuman Dhara village under Darigaon police station in Rohtas district on March 7, 2017. The arrested naxalites belong to Jharkhand. Police also seized a countrymade pistol and two live cartridges from their possession. The arrested naxalites were identified as Makun Pasi and Babloo Kushwaha alias Ranjeet.
Rohas SP Manavjit Singh Dhillon said that he was tipped off that some naxalites were seen moving near Hanuman Dhara locality under Darigaon police station and immediately sent a police team that arrested both the naxalites. He said that they worked for a naxalite Anil Kushwaha active in Kaimur hill.
ASP (operations) Durgesh Kumar said that these naxalites had killed a student for not supplying them food three days ago and were also wanted in a number of cases of burning of JCB and other machines used in construction work after the construction agencies refused to yield to their levy demands.
