Bagaha : Students of Mangalpur Upgraded Middle School under Bagaha-2 block in West Champaran district on December 16, 2017, blocked NH 28(b) for more than an hour  demanding transfer of some teachers on charge of misbehaving with boys and girls.

a Sources said that situation turned ugly when a female teacher Archana Suman allegedly started beating a student Kishan Kumar of Class VIs with sandal for not performing the task given to him by her. After this the boys and girls students became furious and put up blockade on the NH 28(b) in front of the school paralysing traffic on Bagaha-Gorakhpur, Bagaha-Valmikinagar and Harnatand roads for over an hour.

Getting information,Bagaha-1 , Circle Officer(CO),  Shriram Oraon , Pathakauli Police Outpost Incharge Subash Mukhia with police force and members of education Samiti of the school including Manohar Bhar, President, and Pinky Devi reached the spot and pacified the students after which they lifted the blockade. The officials assured the students that four teachers of the school : Brihaspatinath Tiwari, Prem Kumar, Archana Suman and Arati Kumari will be transferred from the school.
