School girl crushed to death by bus at Nawada

Nawada: A school girl was crushed to death by a double-decker bus in the town on Wednesday morning. An Irate mob, in reaction, set the bus ablaze. The civil SDO and sadar SDPO ultimately pacified the crowd. According to reports, Anjali, a class X student of Project Kanya High School, was on way to her school to participate in the rehearsal for the  Independence Day pageant when a “New Anamika” named Ranchi-bound double-decker bus ran over her near Indira Chowk, a busy inter-section located behind Nawada railway station around 8 a.m. Within minutes, the bus was torched by a furious mob but the driver and the cleaner managed to escape. The bus was later towed to Town police station.
