School boy drowns to death during idol immersion in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : Mahesh Kumar, 13,  a student of class 9th of  Gurusharan high school, Belsand, lost his life during immersion of idol of Goddess Saraswati in Manushmara river on February 2 evening. He belonged to ward-4 0f
Belsand sub-divisional town in Sitamarhi district. The locals fished him out and he was rushed to primary  health centre (PHC), Belsand, where the doctors pronounced him brought dead. After post -mortem the body was
handed over to the family members.
