Sasaram : Fast Track Court I Judge, Sasaram, Rohtas, Jagdish Prasad Mishra, on November 8, 2019, sentenced to rigorous life imprisonment Subhash Dhobi of village Padsar under Karakat police station in Rohtas district for in connection with murder of Ram Ishwar Ram of the same village about 12 years ago.
Subhash Dhobi of Padsar village under Karakat police station in Rohtas district had shot at and injured Ram Ishwar Ram of the same village on August 9, 2007,evening, when he was returning home from the market. The family members rushed him to a private clinic at Bikramganj where he succumbed to his injuries after four days during treatment. An FIR was lodged by Karakat police station on the statement of Ram Ishwar Ram and police submitted charge-sheet in the court against Subhash Dhobi, Bhola Ram, and Awadhesh Kahar but Bhola Ram and Awadhesh Kahar died during pendency of the case.
After hearing both the parties, the court sentenced Subhash Dhobi to rigorous life imprisonment
