Sanjay Singh appointed IG, Provision, Vinay Tiwary made City SP (Central), Patna

Patna : Bihar Government on July 12, 2019, appointed Sanjay Singh, a 1997 batch IPS officer waiting for posting, as the IG, Provision. Umashankar Prasad, a 2005 batch IPS officer and SP, Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS), Bihar, has been appointed DIG, Railways, Bihar, Patna, following his promotion to the rank of DIG.

Vinay Tiwary, a 2015 batch IPS officer and SDPO, Sadar, Gopalganj, has been transferred and appointed City SP ( Central), Patna. He has replaced Prantosh Kumar Das, IPS, who has been shifted to Police Headquarters waiting for posting. The Home (Police) Department issued a notification to this effect on July 12 itself
