Patna : The Box Office collection of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer ‘ Tiger Zinda Hai’, a Yasjraj Films directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, crossed Rs 200 crore mark in its first week itself becoming the highest grosser of 2017. The film was released on December 22, 2017. The lifetime collection of  ‘Golmal Again’, also released in 2017, was Rs 205.72 crore.

‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has been made at a budget of Rs 150 crore including print and publicity cost. The film grossed Rs 144.93 crore in its first three days itself. After first week, its box office collection is Rs 206.12 crore. Salman Khan’s movie ‘ Sultan’, also directed by Ali Abbas Zafar,  had earned Rs 208.8 crore in its first week.

‘Tiger ZindaHai’ is a spy thriller and is a sequel to Salman Katrina starrer ‘ Ek Tha Tiger’ which was directed by Kabir Khan. The lifetime business of ‘ Ek Tha Tiger’ was Rs 198.78 crore. Kabir Khan had also directed Salman’s film ‘ Bajrangi Bhaijan’. Kabir Khan had also directed Salman Khan’s film ‘Tubelight’ which was not a hit as per Salman’s standard even as it crossed Rs 100 crore mark.
