New Delhi : Union Minister for Statistics and Programme Implementation D V Sadananda Gowda was on November 13, 2018, given charge of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, in addition to his existing portfolio.
Union Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Mines, Narendra Singh Tomar, has been given the charge of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in addition to his existing portfolios.
This follows the death of Union Minister Ananth Kumar, 59, who held the portfolios of Chemicals & Fertilisers, and Parliamentary Affairs, on November 12, 2018, morning, at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The President of India, as advised by the Prime Minister, on November 13 directed that D V Sadananda Gowda, Cabinet Minister, be assigned the charge of the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, in addition to his existing portfolio, and Narendra Singh Tomar, Cabinet Minister, be assigned the charge of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, in addition to his existing portfolios, according to a PIB release.
