Rs 3.13 lakh looted from Dairy owner’s staff in Muzaffarpur

Muzaffarpur : Three bike borne criminals looted Rs 3.13 lakh cash from an employee of a Dairy Milk Agency Chandan Kumar at Baria Ayachi village at 3.30 pm on June 27, 2017, under Ahiyapur police station in Muzaffarpur district when he was going to deposit the amount in a Bank of India branch across the road, hardly 200 metre away from the milk agency owned by Dilip Kumar. The cash was collected from the retailers.

SHO, Ahiyapur police station, Vijay Kumar, said  two bike borne criminals dashed Chandan when he reached near the bank across the road. Chandan fell on the ground. As soon as he fell on the ground, another bike borne criminal who was waiting there pounced on him and with the help one of the two criminals on the other bike snatched the bag containing cash from Chandan and escaped from there, the SHO said.

He said that although police had looked into the CCTV footage of the bank, it did not give any clue about the three criminals. Police are investigating into the incident, the SHO added. He said that Chandan has been working for Dairy owner Dilip Kumar for the last was four years.
