Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) : Dhanbad  police led by its city SP Anshuman Kumar and traffic  DSP carried a massive drive April 12, 2017, against traffic rule violators and realised fine worth over Rs 25,000 from them in Dhanbad city. More than 54 youth including teenagers were also held  for driving without helmets, triple loading and driving without proper documents.

During the drive carried by the police officers on the man road including in the busy Dhanbad railway station area several school going  teenagers who were driving without helmets or proper documents including driving license were held and when failed to give tax they were taken to Dhanbad  police station. Several teenage girls were also caught flouting traffic rules including not wearing helmets and driving without licence. They were asked to call their parents  from whom fines was realized and later their vehicles were released after warning.
