Panta : Armed criminals looted Rs 2. 50 lakh cash from a petrol outlet at Jamaluddinchak under Khagaul ps in the wee hours on December 22.
Police said that two criminals reached the petrol pump at around 2.30 am and took the employees hostage at pistol point as all the employees were sitting close due to winter. The two criminals first looted their valuables and then snatched the key of the office which was locked from outside. Later, three more criminals reached there and looted Rs 2.50 lakh from there. Police said that the petrol pump belongs to a relative of a senior BJP leader. SHO Sanjay Kr Pandey said that raids were on to arrest those involved in cash loot.
