Patna: Bihar cabinet at its meeting held on Wednesday approved Rs 117 crore for salaries and infrastructure facilities for Bihar agricultural university, Sabour, Bhagalpur, while Rs 144 crore was sanctioned for the Pusa(Samastipur) based Rajendra agriculture university.
The cabinet approved 32 items of different deparments. Posts of seven divisional commandants of Homeguards in SP rank were sanctioned for divisional headquarters and two posts of commandants of homeguards in deputy SP rank were also approved.
tHE Cabinet approved a proposal to create a post of officer on special duty (osd) in intelligence wing of excise department. A proposal sent by health department to dismiss Dr Sanjiv Kumar Chaudhury, the then medical officer of Piprabagahi in Aurangabad was approved too. Dr Chaudhury remained absent without sanction for over five years. For construction of ten court buildings at civil court in Saran, Rs 27 crore was sanctioned.
