Ara: Two motorcycle borne Rs 1.8 lakh looted criminals snatched Rs 1.80 lakh from Shiv Narain Singh near Ambedkar Chowk under Town Police station around 11.45 am on Wednesday. An FIR has been lodged with Town Police Station, Ara, in this regard.
SHO Town Police Station S K Shahi said that Shiv Narain Singh of village Gangahar under Ara Muffassil police station had drawn Rs. 1.80 lakh from State Bank of India at Nawada under the same police station. After withdrawing money he was going to Ara Registry office. When he reached near Ambedkar Chowk under Town Police station, two unidentified motorcycle borne criminals snatched his bag that contained his pension book, bank pass- book and mobile besides Rs 1.80 lakh cash.
