Patna : Rajasthan Royals (RR) beat Mumbai Indians (MI) by 3 wickets in the 21st match of IPL this season at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on April 22, 2018, night, riding on a 11 ball 33 by spinner Krishnappa Gowtham, 29, Karnataka, with 4 fours amd 2 sixes. It was MI’s fourth loss in 5 matches.

Batting first, MI had scored 167/7 in 20 overs with opener Suryakumar Yadav scoring 72 in 47 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes and Ishan Kishan making 58 in 42 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes.

RR scored 168/7 in 19.4 overs with Sanju Samson scoring 52 and Ben Stokes 40. Captain and opener Ajinkya Rahane was out for 14 while his opening partner Rahul Tripathy was out for 9. Wicketkeeper Jos Buttler, England, made 6 while H Klaasen, South Africa,  was out without scoring. For MI, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets each while Mitchell McClenaghan, Krunal Pandya, M Rahman took one wicjet each .
