Buxar : RPF, Buxar, have arrested one person from near the rail track in connection with stone pelting on Patna-New Delhi Tezas Rajdhani Express train between Baruna-Buxar railway stations under Danapur Division of East Central Railway (ECR), Hajipur, on September 19, 2021, night.
Railway sources said that some anti-social elements pelted with stones the Patna-New Delhi Tezas between Baruna-Buxar railway stations under Danapur Division of ECR), Hajipur, on September 19, 2021, night, damaging several windscreens of the train coaches. The driver of the train somehow reached Buxar railway station and informed the RPF there about the incident.
The RPF apprised the Divisional Security Commissioner S N Ojha of the incident and on his direction, the RPF formed a police team and conducted raids and also intensified patrolling on the trail track.The RPF arrested Raj Kumar Singh, 20, of village Hematpur under Dhobaha police outpost in Bhojpur District, from near the place of occurrence and quizzed him.
S N Ojha said that the RPF was keeping a close watch on the anti-social elements involved in damaging properties of the railway and added stern action would be taken against such elements.
