Sasaram : Rohtas police on March 4, 2021, arrested a named accused Dhananjay Yadav and a liner Kishore in connection with murder of Sanjeev Mishra, nephew of a Congress MLA, on February 27, 2021. The miscreant was an resident of Kaimur district.
Rohtas SP Ashish Bharati said that some unidentified armed miscreants had shot dead Sanjeev Kumar Mishra at village Parsathua under the same police station in Rohtas district on February 27, 2021, late evening, when he was going to his market located under his house at Parasathua. The deceased was nephew of Congress MLA from Kargahar assembly constituency Santosh Mishra and son of late Mahendra Mishra alias Gumati Mishra
The SP said that he took the matter seriously and formed a police team under the SDPO which arrested a liner Kishore and Dhananjay Yadav. The SP added that during interrogation, the miscreants revealed that Kishore played role of a liner and passed information about Sanjeev Mishra’s movement. They added that a shooter was hired for killing Sanjeev Mishra was killed. The SP said that the miscreants were sent to jail after interrogation and police are conducting raids to arrest their accomplices.
