Rohtas police arrest criminal who had escaped from police custody

Sasaram : Police arrested a criminal Aditya Mishra alias Chutur Mishra from village Karma under Karakat police station in Rohtas district on February 12, 2020, evening.

SHO Incharge, Karakat police station, Sushant Kumar said that Aditya Mishra alias Chutur Mishra was arrested on February 12, 2020, in connection with theft of valuables worth about Rs 4 lakh from the house of Shyam Bihari Mishra of village Baad in Rohtas district in January 2020. He was kept at police station lock-up but Aditya Mishra broke the grill of the lock up and escaped from police custody.

Taking it seriously, Rohtas SP Satyaveer Singh suspended the SHO, Karakat police station, Sanjay Kumar and two police personnel. Police conducted raids at different places to arrest Aditya Mishra but in vain. Finally, police got information that Aditya Mishra was seen at village Karma. Police immediately swung into action and conducted raids at Karma village and arrested Aditya Mishra from there on February 12 evening.
