Patna : Bihar BJP president and party MP from Ujiarpur parliamentary constituency in Samastipur district in North Bihar Nityanand Rai on October 7, 2017, claimed that the RJD would not get a single seat in 2019 Lok Sabha polls in Bihar. Talking to mediapersons on the conclusion of two-day state executive committee meeting of the party here, Rai asserted that the RJD chief Lalu Prasad will bite the dust in 2019 General Elections.

In a caustic attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Rai said that the person who indulged in corruption and amassed assets disproportionate to his known source of income both as Bihar chief minister and Union Minister was now tweeting `Satyamev Jayate’. Rai said that a frustrated opposition tried to create disturbance in the state on the occasion of Durrehra and Muharram recently. ” But, they will never succeed as the people are aware of their design. The people want peace and development,” Rai said.
