Patna:  Panic prevailed in Ambedkar Colony under Sultanganaj police station, Patna, when two groups clashed and exploded two bombs around 8 am on January 18. The sound of the bombs reverberated in the area and people entered inside their houses due to fear.

However, after the criminals fled from the spot, the locals came out on Ashok Raj Path in large number and blocked it paralyzing the movement of vehicles on the road. On getting information, police along with reinforcements reached there. Sultanganaj ps SHO pacified the people and cleared the road blockade. A large number of policemen and jawans of Rapid Action Force (ARF) remained deployed there sensing the gravity of the situation.

Sultanganj ps SHO said that the incident is fall out of a land dispute. He said that none of the parties have lodged a written complaint in this connection.
