Buxar: Thieves have burgled about half a dozen schools in a week under Dumraon sub-division of Buxar district. Though FIRs have been lodged but police are yet to make any arrest in this connection.
District Education Officer (DEO), Buxar, Omkar Prasad Singh said that miscreants had stolen rice meant for the Mid-day Meal, utensils, musical instruments from about a half a dozen primary and middle schools under Dumraon Sub-Division of the district in a week and every time an FIR was lodged with the police on the statement of the Headmaster of the school concerned. But the police have not arrested even a single miscreant so far.
He said the miscreants burgled Middle School, Badakagaon, Primary School, Maan Bharauli, Middle School, Khandhara, Middle School, Gayghat, Middle School, Krishanbrahm, Middle School, Dharahara, Middle Schoool, Nauniapur, Middle School, Lakhandihara, Middle School, Amathua and Primary School, Akalupur within a week.
