New Delhi : The recovery rate (RR) of  Covid-19 patients improved to 97.27% in India at 8 am on February 10, 2021. A total of 13,087 Covid-19 patients were declared cured / discharged in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,05,61,608 on February 10, 2021, exceeding the number of active cases ( 1,41,511) by a whopping margin of 1,04,20,097. On the other hand, a total of 11,067 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in India in last 24 hours taking the tally to 1,08,58,371 cases in the country on February 10, 2021, of which 1,05,61,608 patients have recovered.

The active cases accounted for just 1.30% of the total Covid-19 cases (1,08,58,371) on February 10, 2021, a drop of 2,114 cases in last 24 hours. India has tested 20,33,24,655 samples so far including 7,36,903 samples on February 9, 2021. Meanwhile, 66,11,561 healthcare workers have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the country so far including 3,52,553 beneficiaries on February 9, 2021, according to Union Health Ministry figure.

The Covid-19 toll jumped to 1,55,252 in India on February 10, 2021, with 94 new deaths being recored in the country in last 24 hours including 35 in Maharashtra, 19 in Kerala, 8 in Punjab, 6 in West Bengal, 4 in Tamilnadu, and 4 in Haryana. India had recorded 78 new deaths on February 9, 2021
