Patna : World No 14 Milos Raonic, 28, Canada, and World No 8 Dominic Thiem, 25, Austria, entered the semi-finals of ATP Indian Wells Masters at California, USA, on March 15, 2019. They will clash in the semi-finals on March 16, 2019.

Raonic beat World No 130 Miomir Kecmanovic, 19, Serbia, 6-3, 6-4 in the quarter-finals on March 15. Raonic fired 13 Aces in the match to 2 Kecmanovic. Raonic broke Kecmanovic’s service twice in the match. Raonic also won 3 games in a row during the match. Raonic won 45 service points to 31 by Kecmanovic, who failed to convert any of his three break points. Raonic had reached the final of the event in 2016.

Thiem entered the semi-finals after quarter-finals opponent and World No 19 Gael Monfils, 32, France, retired before the match due to injury.
