Ram Shankar Katheria appointed Chairman, NCSC

New Delhi : The President of India on May 31, 2017, approved the appointment of  five persons in the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) for a period of 3 years with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices. Prof Ram Shankar Katheria has been appointed Chairman and L Murugan as vice-chairman of NCSC. K Ramulu, Yogendra Paswan and Ms Swaraj Vidwan have been appointed as members of the commission, according to a PIB release.
