Madhubani : Madhubani police have arrested two main accused in the kidnapping and subsequent murder of Nancy Jha, 12, of Mahadevmath under Andhramath police station in Madhubani district. Additional SP, Madhubani, A K Pandey, said that the two main accused Pawan Jha and Lalu Jha have been arrested and sent to jail.
Additional SP Pandey strongly refuted remours that the girl had been sexually assaulted before being killed saying that the Medical Board which performed the post-mortem clearly says there was no medical evidence of rape. Pandey said that according to the post-mortem report the girl died due to asphyxia. He said that the girl was killed due to enmity.
Nancy was kidnapped on May 25, 2017, and her decomposed body was recovered on May 27. Her father runs a private school.
