Motihari : BJP MP from Purvi Champaran parliamentary constituency and former Union Minister Radha Mohan Singh
inaugurated three railway projects and laid foundations of six projects of railway station extension buildings at different
railway stations on Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj railway section of East Central Railways (ECR) on September 20, 2020, through video conference from Motihari. These projects will cost an estimated Rs 23.50 crore. The railway officials and prominent citizens
of the areas concerned were present on the occasion.
Radha Mohan inaugurated two Foot Over Bridges (FOBs) at Bapudham Motihari and Jiwdhara railway station platforms besides a
24 hour medical facilities at Bapudham Motihari station. Speaking on the occasion, he said that beautification of Bapudham Motihari
station has been completed, railway electrification from Muzaffarpur to Gorakhpur had also been completed while doubling of
broadgauge line is underway on this section.
Radha Mohan laid the foundations of FOB, raising of platforms, and station extension buildings at Chakia, Mehasi, Pipra, and Motihari court stations.
