R K Khandelwal, IAS, granted Proforma Promotion to Apex Payscale

Patna : Bihar Government on September 12, 2019, granted Proforma Promotion to Apex Payscale (Chief Secretary rank) to 1989 batch IAS officer R K Khandelwal, who is currently on central deputation.

Khandelwal’s batchmate Vivek Kumar Singh was promoted to Apex Payscale ( Chief Secretary rank) on September 6, 2019. Khandelwal is at present Deputy Director General (C&A), Telecommunication Department, Government of India.

The Government on September 12 also designated Vivek Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary, Revenue & Land Reforms Department, as Additional Chief Secretary. The General Administration Department issued a notification to this effect on September 12.
