Begusarai : Police on June 16, 2017, arrested the Principal and a lady teacher of a private school, B R Education Academy, Sikraula, in Koriya panchayat in Begusarai district, after two girls, both sisters, were thrown out of the school after they failed to pay for uniform on time. Koriya panchayat is 14 km away from Begusarai town.
The lady teacher removed the two girls, students of StandardI and II, from the school after taking off their uniform. Their father Chunchun Sah had lodged an FIR with police alleging that he had pleaded for some time with the lady teacher on June 16 but she remained unmoved rather took off the uniform of his two daughters and asked them to get out of the school. SDPO, Begusarai, Rajesh Kumar said that the school principal and lady teacher were arrested on June 16 evening. The arrested school principal has, however, denied any such incident had taken place.
